Under God: 250th Anniversary Celebration

As America marks 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, four local churches are gathering together for an evening of thanksgiving, prayer, fellowship, and worship under the lordship of Jesus Christ.

Join us on Sunday evening, June 28, for an outdoor picnic followed by a one-hour service focused on God’s providence and faithfulness in the life of our nation.

Event Schedule:

• Picnic & Fellowship: 5:30 PM

• Worship Service: 6:30 PM

The evening will include congregational singing, Scripture and historical readings, prayers for our nation and leaders, and reflections on God’s sovereign rule over the nations. Together, we will thank God for his mercy, repent of our national sins, and pray for future generations to walk in truth, wisdom, and submission to Christ the King.

The goal of the evening is not to exalt nation above God, but to rightly acknowledge God’s hand in history and to encourage Christians to love their nation properly by seeking its good under the lordship of Jesus Christ.

Free event! Everyone is welcome to attend.

• Lawn chairs or picnic blankets

• Yard games and outdoor activities
