Children and Student Ministries

Children aged 3 through kindergarten will be going through “He Has Spoken By His Son,” which chronologically explores the New Testament and helps children see the character and work of God through the stories of Jesus and the early church.

Children in 1st through 4th grade will be studying “Faithful to All His Promises,” a study on the promises and character of God. They will learn that God’s character is trustworthy, that his promises are true and reliable, and what it means to trust those promises in the everyday fight of faith. The study also helps children see that God always keeps his promises, even when they have to wait for their fulfillment.

Children in 5th through 7th grade will be studying “Fight the Good Fight,” a study on persevering in faith. This class teaches students to recognize various battlegrounds of temptation and equips them with biblical strategies for fighting sin and fueling their faith in God. Students will be encouraged to look to Christ for strength, help, and victory and to use Scripture in the ongoing fight of faith.

What is the church, and why does it matter? This course explores what the Bible teaches about the church, from God's plan to create a people for himself to the life and mission of the local church. As following Christ becomes increasingly costly in our culture, understanding God's design for the church is more important than ever. Students will learn why the church is essential to the Christian life and how Christ builds, governs, and grows his people through the ordinary ministry of the local church.
